What Makes M2?

Moringa

Moringa Oleifera, also known as the Miracle Tree, drumstick tree, horsradish tree, or Malunggay in the Philippines.  Native to India and found in subtropical and tropical regions of the world, the tree in whole is known to have a vast range nutritive properties.  The leaves alone are rich in calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium, iron and copper.  It also contains vitamins like beta-carotene from Vitamin A, Vitamin B, also Vitamin C, D and E.  Essential Amino Acids, protein and antioxidants are also present in Moringa Oleifera.

The Miracle tree has been used for many centuries in Central Asia for its medicinal properties qualities.  It has been recently been subject to various scientific tests and studies from professors and doctors in different universities.  They all seem to agree that the Moringa is called a “Miracle Tree” for good reason.

Okra

Found in Africa, Asia and areas in the tropics, this plant is known for its edible seed pods.  This fruit is also referred to as “Lady’s Finger” in some countries.  Okras are mostly used in cooking and can be found in Southern American cuisine.  Although the okra’s slimy texture is most of the time its unappealing trait, it is packed with essential nutrients.  Okra contains Vitamins A, C, K, and B6. It has Magnesium, Folate, Proteins and essential antioxidants as well.

Ginger

Ginger is among the healthiest spices on the planet.  It originated from Southeast Asia and it’s known for its rhizome (part of the stem, close to the root).  Ginger can be prepared many ways and is a common ingredient in diverse recipes. Gingerol is one of its main bioactive compound.  This contributes to the ginger’s unique fragrance and flavor and also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.  Throughout generations, ginger has helped people with nausea, morning sickness, high blood sugar and indigestion.
